Little did I know that when I joined SJDG it would lead to such a huge addiction.

I really don't know how to control it!

Not only am I addicted to the sport but to the clothes too!

Mini-pleated, lacy or fluffy skirts, petticoats, fishnets...

Once I started I couldn't stop!  Gotta have it!

Multi-colored cheeky shorts, fluorescent tutus, wife beater tees, patterned tights, striped or patterned thigh high socks...

Skulls & crossbones, stars, fiery flames, there's just too many to name! 

One day you can look totally Goth, the next, all dressed up like Goldilocks.

The outfit is only complete with our stickered up helmet, pads and of course the speed skates! 

I can even change the colors of those if I wish.  Some derby girls even have a cool tattoo or two! 

So don't let the sex appeal fool you, definitely quite the contradiction once that bout begins.

That is when you'll see, underneath that sexy facade are strong, athletic, tough as nails women with speed and grace all the while blocking and jamming through.

What other sport do you know of that women play wearing skimpy shorts or short skirts, kicking each others ass and still be friends??
