What led you to roller derby?
I joined roller derby after a combination of seeing Whip it and breaking up with a boyfriend. I wanted to meet new people and have something to keep me busy. I missed being part of a team and having something other than the normal routine: work, eat, sleep.

 

What is your favorite position to play?
Blocker and Pivot. Blocker because I like to hit people when they least expect it and Pivot because there is only a 50% chance I'll have to take off :)

What does being a Love City Roller Derby member mean to you?
It means being part of a family and having people who would do anything for you. I love my team <3

 

Hobbies outside of derby
I don't know if going to the beach is a hobby, but I do that a lot, and I am really good at it. I also snowboard -- I hate the mountains around here after going to Colorado. I'm a mountain snob.

Random fact about yourself?
I have celiac disease. Just means, I can't have pizza or beer. NO BIG DEAL OR ANYTHING. Gluten free stuff isn't as cool.....trust me.

Worst Injury?
Sprained ankle...didn't even happen during derby.

 

What's your best hit / favorite moment of a game?
Anytime someone’s feet go in the air is the best hit. It happens a lot, and I love the crowd's reaction.
